“It was such a charming and lovely hotel. My friend and I each booked our own room. The rooms were spacious and had bathtubs, so we were able to relax and unwind. The staff were always very kind and helpful. There were also plenty of great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. It was the perfect place for a short getaway.”

The only thing l can say being slightly negative is that the spa in the pool area felt very dated ,and the decor in places throughout the hotel could do with revamping!! Wonderful stay 😊”

“This place has so much potential.. it needs a complete refurb.. Lacks personality and charm.. in fact it has none. The lighting alone makes you feel you are in a hospital waiting room. The bar staff were lovely but the receptionists are not the best not welcoming at all.”

“Claverton staff, food, room and gardens all excellent. The functions on 2 nights in function room and beer garden below our room was noisy and therefore took edge off stay hence the 4 stars and would not return in the future.”
